WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police are asking for help in locating a male suspect, who robbed The Wells Fargo Bank on Wolcott Street Tuesday afternoon.
Around 3:30 p.m. a male suspect handed the teller a note threatening that he was armed with a gun and demanded cash, police reported.
The teller handed cash over to the suspect. The amount is unknown.
No weapon was shown and there were no injuries.
The suspect fled in possibly a charcoal grey or black sedan with tinted windows, police said.
The suspect was described as a white male in his mid-twenties, 5'6'' to 5'8'' and had brown hair.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Waterbury Police at (203) 755-1234.
Cash rewards will be given for information that leads to an arrest.
