WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH/AP) -- A man wanted for felony murder in Waterbury was arrested Thursday in Schenectady, New York.

U.S. Marshals tracked 23-year-old Joseph Walker all summer, until they caught up with him Thursday in Schenectady.

He was wanted for the May 12 murder of 27-year-old David Caban. Caban was shot in the head inside a car on Proctor Street. Police say the murder was drug related.

Walker has been charged with felony murder, first degree conspiracy robbery, and criminal possession of a firearm.

Police say Walker had crack cocaine when he was arrested and he's facing a drug charge in Schenectady.

He was held in New York on a $2 million bond pending extradition back to Connecticut.

A Queens man had been arrested previously on charges of hindering prosecution and tampering with evidence in the case.
