GLASTONBURY, Conn. (WTNH) -- An East Hartford man was arrested after he allegedly threw a cup of coffee on Glastonbury's deputy fire chief.
Mark Duell, 27, was arrested around 9:40 p.m. Monday night.
Police say Duell threw a cup of coffee at the deputy fire chief after he was told he couldn't drive through the scene of a crash at the intersection of Eastern and Western Boulevards in Glastonbury.
He was charged with assault on emergency personnel and given a $25,000 non-surety bond.
He is scheduled to appear in court on September 5.
