BOZRAH, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police have made an arrest in a homicide that happened in Bozrah in September.
Just before 7 a.m., on September 25th, police responded to a ball field located at 59 Bozrah St. and found a deceased man.
The victim, who was later identified as 28-year-old Darius Bishop, of Norwich, had sustained a single gunshot wound to the head.
On December 7th, after an extensive investigation, Eastern District Major Crime Squad applied for an arrest warrant charging 34-year-old Dequan McKethan, of 61 Summit St., in Norwich, with murder in the death of Bishop.
On December 10th, McKethan, who is currently incarcerated on other charges, was arrested for the murder.
Bond was set at $1 million.
