KILLINGLY, Conn. (WTNH) -- A man was arrested for disrobing and entering St. James Catholic Church.
Around 1:45 p.m. State Police received a call from the church at 230 Water St. The caller reported a male had disrobed and entered the church and created a disturbance in front of parishioners and students from the school, police said.
Troopers confronted the naked male upon arrival who failed to comply with the troopers orders.
Gary Pohronezny, 41, of 70 Proulx St, Brooklyn, CT was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct, risk of injury to minors and interfering with police.
A court date was set for Jan. 10 in Danielson.
Pohronezny was then transported to Day Kimble Hospital for medical evaluation.
