HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police have arrested a man for a shooting in Hartford that left another man hospitalized.
The shooting occurred shortly after 7 p.m. Thursday, at 618 Blue Hills Ave.
The victim, a 33-year-old man, arrived at St. Francis Hospital suffering from numerous gunshot wounds. He is recovering from his injuries.
Immediate investigation by Hartford Police identified Tony Woolford as the suspect. Woolford was taken into custody approximately 25 minutes after the shooting.
Woolford is charged with first-degree assault, criminal possession of a pistol, carrying a pistol without a permit, unlawful discharge of a gun, altering the ID of a pistol, and reckless endangerment.
He is being held on a $2 million bond.
