MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A West Haven man was arrested Wednesday for multiple robberies committed in Milford.
During the months of September and October, police received several complaints regarding armed robberies that occurred in the Milford area. The suspect's description was similar to those of other towns/cities in the state where the suspect displayed a knife and demanded money from the employees.
On December 8th, Guilford Police had a similar robbery occur in their town.
Police in West Haven, Guilford, and Milford then worked together to develop information which led to the arrest of a suspect.
The suspect was identified as 44-year-old Anthony Simons, of 353 Center St., West Haven.
Simons was interviewed by police and confessed to four robberies in the Milford area, as well as several others in the state.
Simons was charged with four counts of first-degree robbery, fourth-degree larceny, and two counts of sixth-degree larceny.
Bond was set for $200,000.
