Man arrested for threatening girlfriend

SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) -- A South Windsor man was arrested after his girlfriend reported he threatened to kill her and her family.

Eric Desrocher, 35, was arrested outside his girlfriend's home on Sandstone Drive on Thursday.

The woman called police after Desrocher allegedly broke down her door and shoved her. When she called police, she says he tried to taken the phone away from her.

The woman also told officers Desrocher threatened to kill her and her family.

He was charged with breach of peace, interference with emergency calls, and second degree threatening.

He was held on a $5,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court Friday morning.
