WESTPORT, Conn. (AP) — Westport police have arrested a 21-year-old man who a motorist said pointed a gun at him during an apparent road rage incident.
Tyler C. Keiser of Trumbull is charged with threatening, reckless endangerment and breach of peace.
The motorist called police around 5 p.m. Thursday saying a man had jumped out of his vehicle and brandished a handgun. Police say the driver told them Keiser cut him off and that he flashed his high beams at Keiser.
Keiser was located by officers in Fairfield. His Glock 9mm semi-automatic gun was seized. Police say the gun is registered to him and he has a carry permit for it
Keiser has been released on a $2,500 bond and is to appear in Norwalk court on March 8.
