MANCHESTER, Conn. (WTNH) -- A Hartford man was arrested after being caught with more than two dozen pounds of marijuana.
On Friday, East Central Narcotics Task Force received information that a package filled with marijuana was going to be delivered to 37 Edgerton St., in Manchester.
Task force members set up surveillance and detained Fernando Gayle when he accepted the package for delivery.
Another package filled with 14 pounds of marijuana was also located inside the Lexus that Gayle was operating.
Between the two packages, task force members seized approximately 28 lbs. of marijuana.
Gayle, 28, of 22 Harrison St., Hartford, was charged with possession of more than four ounces of marijuana, possession with intent to sell, possession of marijuana within 1,500' of a school, possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1,500' of a school.
Bond was set at $150,000.
