Man busted with bb gun at airport

WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (WTNH) -- A man was arrested after a BB gun was discovered in his bag at Bradley International Airport Tuesday morning.

Officials said the man went through a security check point at the airport with what appeared to be a firearm.

TSA intercepted his bag. When State Police searched the bag they discovered a BB gun.

The gun is considered a dangerous weapon under state statute and is a prohibited item, not allowed in carry-on bags.

Stefan Leonodovizh Tsikhotskit, 34, was arrested and charged with failing to comply with airport security measures.

Tsikhotskit was held on a $2,500 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Enfield court on August 15th.
