NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- A man already accused of three murders is facing a fourth murder charge.
Zackery Cody Franklin has been charged with the December 15, 2007 murder of Jeremiah Johnson, 32. Johnson' body was found near East Rock Park. He had been shot several times.
Franklin is currently incarcerated on three separate murder charges; the May 2011 murder of Ryan Barnaby , the July 8, 2011 murder of Coqui" July 9, 2011 murder of John Claude-James .
Police also charged 27-year-old John Torry Denby for his role in the murder. Deby was also already incarcerated on drug related charges.
According to police, their pair were trying to rob Johnson. Both Barnaby and Claude-James were killed during armed robberies.
Franklin and Denby were charged with felony murder and given a $2 million bond.
