Man charged with performing obscene act

NAUGATUCK, Conn. (WTNH) -- A 59-year-old man was arrested after he performed an obscene act over web cam for what he believed was a 14-year-old girl.

The man believed he was performing for a young girl in an internet chat room, but it was really a Naugatuck police detective.

After the incident, police arrested 59-year-old Kahn Moses and charged him with criminal attempt at impairing morals of a child and promoting a minor in obscene performance.

He was held on a $50,000 court set bond.
