EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — East Hartford police say a local man hid a camera in a bathroom and recorded a 13-year-old girl using the shower.
Thirty-seven-year-old Cesar Torres-Cruz was charged with voyeurism and risk of injury to a minor on Saturday night, after the girl's mother found a recording device hidden in a box in the bathroom.
Police say Torres-Cruz is being held on $50,000 bail and is to be arraigned Monday in Manchester Superior Court. It's not clear if he has a lawyer.
Officers say Torres-Cruz didn't break into the apartment. It's unclear when the recording device was placed in the bathroom.
