STAMFORD, Conn. (Stamford Advocate) -- Two uniforms had to be destroyed and an officer was given medical attention for his knee after a man defecated during a domestic disturbance on Bedford Street Thursday night.

A city man and his girlfriend were arrested after neighbors called police to say they heard a woman screaming in a neighboring Bedford Street apartment, police said.

Miroslaw Fedoryszak-Oscheja, 50, and Erica Colberg, 47, of 2289 Bedford Street were charged with second-degree breach of peace and interfering with an officer.

Stamford Police Sgt. Richard Barbagallo said police were called to the apartment at about 10:08 p.m. and were met by Fedoryszak-Oscheja at the door with a large dog. Fedoryszak-Oscheja would not put the dog away and refused to come outside without the dog and talk to officers about what neighbors were complaining about.
