Man demands Oxycodone in pharmacy robbery

DAYVILLE, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police are looking for a man who robbed a Dayville Walgreens Pharmacy.

It happened around 1:45 p.m. at the store located at 1093 North Main Street.

Witnesses told police the suspect handed the store's pharmacist a note demanding Oxycodone. The not implied the man had a gun. The pharmacist handed over the Oxycodone and the suspect walked out of the store.

K9 units were called in, but they weren't able to find the man.

The man is described as white, in his mid-20s with a skinny build, short dark-colored hair and some facial growth. He was wearing a dark colored baseball cap, a blue and white windbreaker jacket, blue jeans and sneakers.

No one was injured in the robbery.
