Bridgeport, Conn. (AP) - A Stratford man faces sentencing for what authorities say was a scheme to embezzle more than $2.5 million from his former employer.

Steven DeCecco is scheduled to be sentenced Tuesday in federal court in Bridgeport.

Authorities say he used the money to buy more than 20 classic cars.

Prosecutors say DeCecco and another former employer of the company made several wire transfers to their own accounts. Federal officials have not identified the company.
