MADISON, Conn. (WTNH) -- Gunfire at a restaurant early Saturday morning has led to an arrest.
Police were called to Donahue's Restaurant/Bar at 1320 Boston Post Road at 1:07 a.m. Saturday morning, following the report of a fight and the discharge of a firearm.
Michael Foy was taken into custody and was arrested following the incident.
Police say that the initial investigation revealed that Foy had been involved in an altercation with other patron(s) at the restaurant. After restaurant employees intervened, Foy left the building, retrieved a firearm from his vehicle and fired a shot in the direction of a restaurant employee.
Foy fled the scene and was located a short time later by Madison Police. The firearm was recovered by police and Foy is being held on a $200,000 bond.
Minor injuries were initially reported.
The charges include Criminal Attempt to Commit Assault 1st Degree, Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm, Carrying a Gun without a Permit, Possession of a Loaded Firearm While Under the Influence, Weapons in a Motor Vehicle, Reckless Endangerment 1st Degree and Breach of Peace.
