HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A man robbed a People's Bank Saturday afternoon and fled the scene.
Police say that at approximately 12:10 p.m. Saturday, the People's Bank located at 290 Franklin Avenue, Hartford was robbed by passage of a note (no weapons seen or implied).
The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of $50 bills. The suspect is described as a white
male, black hair, approximately 5'10" tall, 170 lbs., wearing a red t-shirt with a "Red Sox" logo, light blue jean shorts, and white sneakers.
It is believed that the individual fled on foot northbound on Franklin Avenue.
The suspect may frequent the area of Franklin Avenue and Benton Street.
