HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A man was shot after leaving a party on Zion Street Saturday morning, police said.
A 20-year-old male reportedly flagged down police after he believed he had been shot early Saturday morning.
The man was transferred to Hartford Hospital where a bullet was found to be inside his leg. He was treated and released for non-life threatening injuries.
The victim told police that he was leaving a party in the vicinity of 489 Zion Street when he was shot.
Police say this shooting is not associated with Trinity College. The victim is said to be a student at Lincoln Technical Institute.
