Man robs hotel with semi-automatic

Stratford, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police are searching for a man wanted for committing an armed robbery at a hotel in Stratford Monday.
The incident occurred at the Comfort Suites, located at 1500 South Avenue.
According to police, an unidentified man entered the hotel, jumped over the counter end robbed the business of approximately $400. A cell phone was also stolen from the manager.
During the robbery the suspect was armed with a small black semi-automatic handgun.
No one was injured during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall with a slim build and short hair. He was also described as being approximately 25 years old.
The incident is under investigation.
