Man shot in head in Hartford

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) - Hartford police are are on the scene of a shooting where a man was injured.
It happened just before 2:00 a.m. near a store on the corner of Russ and Broad Streets. That's just a short distance from Trinity College.
Police say the victim is a 27-year-old man.
The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to Hartford Hospital with a life-threatening injury.
Broad Street was blocked off with crime scene tape while police were on the scene gathering evidence.
