BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (CT Post) -- Detectives are investigating after a man was shot twice near the Marina Village public housing complex Tuesday night, police said.
The victim -- a man in his 30s -- suffered wounds to his chest and arm, according to police and EMS radio transmissions. He was taken to Bridgeport Hospital.
Police set up a crime scene on Walnut Street, off Iranistan Avenue, near the Walnut Grocery store, where the man was found about 7:20 p.m., but it wasn't immediately clear if he was shot there.
