Police are searching for this man who robbed a Stamford People's Bank on August 3, 2012.

STAMFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Stamford police officers are searching for a man who robbed a downtown bank Friday morning.
The tall, black man passed the teller at the People's Bank at 350 Bedford Street a note demanding money around 9:15 a.m.
According to the Stamford Advocate , the teller handed the man $70.
No one was hurt and no weapon was shown.
Police are now searching for the man, who the teller says is in his early to mid 30s and heavy set.
Surveillance photos show he wore a dark blue Yankees hat, a blue Champion long sleeve sweatshirt and beige or Khaki pants.
Anyone who sees the suspect or knows his identity is asked to call the Stamford police at 203-977-4417.
