Homeowner walks in on burglar

Putnam (WTNH) - A Putnam man walked in on a burglar robbing his house.

It happened December 31st around 2pm.

The suspect, 28-year old Jesse Remillard of Thompson, fled the scene in a white pick-up truck. The truck was found a short time later in Thompson. A couple of hours later, police were able to track down Remillard.

Remillard has been charged with robbery, burglary, criminal mischief and threatening. He's due in court on January 13.
