MIDDLEBURY, Conn. (WTNH) -- A man went into a liquor store with a gun and demanded money Sunday afternoon, police say.
Police said that shortly after 2 p.m. Sunday, a black male suspect entered the International Wine and Spirit Shop at 750 Straits Turnpike.
He displayed a handgun and demanded money. He fled the scene after getting between $400 and $500 in cash.
The female clerk on duty was very shook up, but she was not injured.
The suspect was wearing blue jean shorts and a black hoodie at the time of the robbery.
