MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A duo from Milford was arrested on drug charges after police conducted a search of their home this week.
As part of a drug sales investigation in Milford, police searched the home of 44-year-old Christopher Strain, located at 111 Bridgeport Ave.
Also located at the home with Strain was 44-year-old Michelle Brown, also of 111 Bridgeport Ave.
During the search, police seized approximately a half pound of marijuana, narcotic medication pills, drug packaging materials, and $2,793 in suspected drug proceeds, police said.
As a result of the search, Strain and Brown were both charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a drug factory, possession of marijuana within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of narcotics, narcotics not stored in original container, and conspiracy charges.
Strain was also charged with two counts sale of marijuana, two counts sale of marijuana within 1,500 feet of a school, two counts possession of marijuana, and two counts possession of marijuana within 1,500 feet of a school regarding two outstanding arrest warrants.
Strain was held on $200,000 bond and Brown was held on $100,000.
