Cops investigate excessive force allegation against teacher

BLOOMFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police in Bloomfield are investigating after a parent reported that a teacher used excessive force on her son.

According to police, the parent reported that her 8-year-old son was involved in an incident with a teacher at JP Vincent Elementary school on Monday, May 21st.

The parent said that the teacher used excessive force in restraining her son, who was reportedly disruptive in the classroom.

The investigation into the allegation is ongoing.
