WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- West Hartford police are warning residents about a recent string of car break-ins.
According to police, between September 9-10 there were more than 30 reported car burglaries around the area of Fern Street.
Police say the suspect simply opened an unlocked car door and grabbed the items inside.
Most reported loose change and small electronics, such as GPS units, phones, and iPods, were stolen.
Officers are working to identify suspects.
Residents are reminded to lock their car doors and asked to not leave valuable items in their cars.
