NEW FAIRFIELD, Conn. (WTNH)-- A New Fairfield man has allegedly shot and killed his wife after an argument in their home on Saturday night.
Police say Robert Bell, 63, shot his wife four times after they got into an altercation at their home on 8 Hilltop Drive. Robert then called an ambulance.
Police found Svetlana Bell, 47, unresponsive on the kitchen floor with gunshot wounds to her chest area. She was taken to Danbury Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Robert Bell has been charged with manslaughter with a firearm and disorderly conduct.
The investigation is still on going and Bell is scheduled to appear in court Monday morning.
