NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH)-- A man was shot outside of a New Haven bar, after a fight broke out at an "all ages" party Sunday night.
Police responded to reports of gunfire around 10:30 PM at The Red Cafe, at 320 Ashmun Street.
Police say a chaotic fight broke out inside the bar that eventually was taken outside. That's where gun shots were fired and those around ran for cover.
Lamarr Mceleveen, 20, New Haven, was later found with gunshot wounds to his abdomen. He was taken to Saint Raphael's campus of Yale-New Haven hospital for treatment of his non-life threatening injury.
At least 35 people were interviewed at the scene, with ages ranging from 12-years-old to 50-years-old.
Police are still investigating the party as well.
