New Haven market robber sought

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the individual responsible for robbing a New Haven market Friday.

The armed robbery happened at Mari Market, located at 519 Ferry St.

Police said a witness followed the suspect to the McDonald's, located at 309 Ferry St., where he was caught on surveillance video.

After investigating, police learned that the suspect was dropped off in the area of Chapel St. at Sherman Ave.
