NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- Nearly a year after a New Haven man was killed, police say they have arrested his killer.
Edward Andrew Thompson, 37, was killed just after midnight on October 13, 2011.
On Friday, New Haven police announced they had arrested Larry Johnson, 33, for his murder.
Thompson was with his girlfriend when he was shot at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Lloyd Streets. He was rushed to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
His death was the Elm City's 27th homicide of the year.
