NEW LONDON, Conn. (WTNH) -- New London Police continue to investigate the stabbing death of a local man.
Javier Reyes, 36, was stabbed Wednesday night on his front porch on Huntington Street. He was pronounced dead at Yale - New Haven Hospital several hours later.
Neighbors tell News 8 Reyes was a father of five.
Police say they are actively investigating his murder. They have not identified any suspects or possible motives at this time.
New London Deputy Chief Peter Reichard told News 8 Thursday night that they believe, "[Reyes] was more or less targeted by the people."
