NEW LONDON, Conn. (WTNH)-- A New London woman was charged with risk of injury to a minor Saturday, after hitting another car while driving under the influence, with a 5-year-old child.
Police say Kelsey Wolfe,26, hit another car that was stopped at a red light at the intersection of Bank Street and Montauk Avenue.
After investigation, police discovered Wolfe's blood alcohol limit was over three times Connecticut's legal limit.
Wolfe was charged with operating under the influence, following too close and risk of injury to a minor.
No one was injured in the accident.
DCF was notified and assisted in a follow-up investigation.
