Hartford (AP) - Connecticut will be using $600,000 in federal stimulus money to expand efforts to track down Internet sexual predators.

Gov. M. Jodi Rell says the funds are to expand state and local efforts in catching people who use the Internet to victimize children.

The bulk of the money is for the state's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force which is made up of state troopers, local officers and civilians.

The federal money will help fund the combined efforts by state and local police departments through expanded training, forensic analysis, community awareness programs and upgraded technology.
