Hartford (AP) - A Rhode Island man has pleaded guilty to fraud and tax evasion charges involving the theft of furniture from The Hartford insurance company.
Michael Young, 35, of Coventry, R.I., pleaded guilty Wednesday to charges stemming from a kickback scheme with a former manager for The Hartford.
Young had been charged with conspiring with Todd Olynciw of Somers in a plot that involved the theft of more than $875,000 worth of furniture from the company.
Young is to be sentenced in September and must pay restitution.
Olynciw was sentenced to more than two years in prison in April 2008.
