Milford (WTNH) - A man held up the News Den Store on New Haven Avenue in Milford with a syringe Sunday evening.

The suspect entered the store, displayed a syringe and told the employee to open the cash register drawer. The suspect then reached over and removed an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot from the scene.

The Orange Police Department's K9 team conducted a K9 track of the suspect, but did not find him at that time.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20's with a scruffy beard, wearing jeans, a black shirt with a white shirt under it and black baseball hat with red letters on it.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Milford Police Department at (203) 878-6551.
