Manchester (WTNH) - A man running through the streets of Manchester screaming that he was the son of Jesus allegedly assaulted two children and a police officer with a piece of wood.
It happened on Holl Street Tuesday evening.
The suspect, Ruben Vasquez Jr., allegedly assaulted a one year old and three year old child, as well as two men, with the 2x4. When police arrived on scene, Vasquez led them on a brief foot pursuit and then struck one of the officers with the wood.
Vasquez has been charged with risk of injury to a minor, assault, and interfering with police.
He was arraigned in Superior Court this morning and is being held on $100,000 bond.
