Norwich (WTNH) - Police in Norwich are asking for the public's help to identify a man that held up the People's Bank in Norwich Saturday afternoon.
It happened just before 3pm at the Town Street branch. The suspect threatened the teller with a gun, but did not display a weapon. No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a white male, 40-50 years old, 5'9" with dark hair. He was wearing a blue baseball cap with "NYPD" on the front, dark sunglasses and a green jacket.
He was last seen driving a red compact car with two bumper stickers on the back that read something similar to "My father is a Marine" and "Be afraid."
