CLINTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- Clinton police found hundreds of narcotics pills, as well as night vision goggles and binoculars in a roadside bust.
Around 6:45 p.m. Sunday night, Clinton police pulled over a car for a traffic violation. The car was registered to 29-year-old Bryan Gallagher, who was a passenger in the car. The driver was 29-year-old Nathaniel Etzel, whom the officer determine was driving with a suspended license.
The officer was able to find hundreds of pills including Oxycontin, Klonopin and Valium, as well as 45 bags of heroin inside the car.
Police also found over $2,000 in cash, a BB gun, drug paraphernalia, night vision goggles and binoculars.
Gallagher admitted to the officer that all the items in the car belonged to him except the drug paraphernalia that was found in Etzel's pocket.
Gallagher was held on $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Middletown Superior court on Monday.
Etzel was released on a promise to appear and is scheduled to appear in Middletown Superior court on August 14.
