North Windham man pleads guilty to federal child porn charges

NORTH WINDHAM, Conn. (WTNH)-- A North Windham man plead guilty to federal child pornography production and distribution charges on Thursday.
Court documents say that Heath Trahan, 38, was arrested on October 14, 2011, after police determined he had emailed images of child pornography to a person in New Jersey.
Police also seized several computers and a cell phone, which police say Trahan used to photograph two minor children engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
Police also found about 500 images and 60 videos of child pornography, which he had not produced.
Trahan will be sentenced on March 11th, at which he faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison.
The case was investigated by the ICE Homeland Security Investigations with the Connecticut State Police.
