Orange, Conn. (WTNH) - Police have arrested a suspect after the Orange Chase bank was robbed on Monday morning.

26-year-old Kenneth Appel was arrested and charged with second degree robbery, larceny and threatening after police say he held up the Chase bank at 262 Boston Post Rd in Orange around 8:50 a.m. on Monday morning.

Witnesses told police the suspect insinuated that he had a gun, but it wasn't seen during the robbery.

Police say they were able to recover some of the stolen money as well as other evidence when they arrested Appel.

He is being held on $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 14.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

The investigation is ongoing, however police say they don't anticipate making additional arrests.
