PA robbery suspect arrested after CT standoff

WATERTOWN, Conn. (WTNH) -- After a several hour standoff in Watertown, a man wanted for a Pennsylvania armed robbery was arrested Wednesday.

Shortly after 11 a.m., police received a call that 33-year-old Sean Flavin, who was wanted for an armed robbery in Wilkes-Barre, PA, was located at 103 Artillary Rd.

Upon arrival, police were able to identify Flavin, who then retreated back into the home.

Police closed off the area and evacuated others who were inside the home at the time.

Around 4 p.m., police were able to talk Flavin into coming out of the home.

Flavin was charged with interfering with an officer.

He is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior August 23rd.
