HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A Manchester man was arrested earlier this month for leaving his toddler son alone in a vehicle, which was then stolen triggering an Amber Alert.
According to police, on December 6th, 26-year-old Luis Trinidad, parked his car in front of the Stowes Village Mini Mart, located on Main St. in Hartford. He then went into the store, leaving his two-year-old son alone in the rear seat of the car.
Police said when Trinidad returned to where his car was parked, the car and his son were gone.
Am Amber Alert was then issued, and the child and vehicle were located.
The child was not injured.
Trinidad was arrested for leaving a child under 12 unsupervised.
