PD: jewelry stolen from Wilton home

WILTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police are investigating a burglary that happened at a Wilton home Saturday.

The incident occurred just before 11 p.m. Saturday, at a home on Spruce Meadow Court.

Police said a homeowner arrived home to find drawers and jewelry boxes distributed within the home.

After investigating, it was determined that the suspect forced entry into the home, ransacked it, and stole an undetermined amount of jewelry.

The investigation is ongoing.
