WEST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police are investigating after a delivery man reported being robbed by two men in West Haven Thursday night.
The incident happened around 9:45 p.m., in the area of Elm St. and Third Ave.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with a pizza delivery man that said they were robbed while walking back to their vehicle after making a delivery.
The victim described the two suspects as black males, police said.
According to police, the suspects demanded money from the victim, who gave up his wallet right away.
The victim was then punched in the head and had a firearm pointed at him where several shots were fired in his direction, police said.
The suspects then ran away from the scene in an unknown direction, police said.
The victim was not seriously injured, but was treated and released on the scene for facial injuries.
