MERIDEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- As a result of the continuing investigation into the robbery/murder of EZ Mart owner Ibrahim Ghazal, Meriden police detectives have labeled Frankie Resto as a person of interest.
Resto has a violent criminal history and should be considered armed and dangerous. He currently has an active arrest warrant for a violation of probation. This is not related to the robbery/murder. There is a $100,000 court set bond for that warrant, and it is extraditable.
Resto's whereabouts at this time are unknown. His last known address was believed to be in Meriden or New Britain.
Frankie Resto is described as a light-skinned Hispanic male, 5'7" tall and weighing about 190-200 pounds.
If seen, Resto should not be approached. Individuals who spot Frankie Resto should call their local police department with details.
Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Benoit at 203-630-6297.
