Police seek Vernon home invasion suspect

Vernon, Conn. (WTNH) - Police in Vernon are asking for the public's help in the hopes that it will lead to an arrest in a home invasion and sexually motivated assault that happened last month.

The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. on January 21st, at the Courtside Condominium Complex.

Police recovered a few items on the scene that were left by the suspect.

Of those items were a 21" link necklace and woman's blouse. Police believe the suspect brought the blouse with him. It is described as a 24" long, black blouse with tassels hanging down from the collar and shoulder pads.

The man is a described as 5'6" to 5'9" tall, with a thin to medium build.
