BERLIN, Conn. (WTNH) -- A Berlin man was arrested in connection with a robbery that happened in November in Kensington.
The robbery occurred on November 19th, at the UBI Federal Credit Union, located at 40A Chamberlain Highway, in Kensington.
Police said after receiving several anonymous tips, 35-year-old Robert Armstrong, of 20 Dunham Dr., Berlin, was identified as a suspect in bank robberies in Southington and Bristol.
After further investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Armstrong.
Police said Armstrong was in custody after being arrested in December for the robbery in Southington.
The warrant was served at New Britain Superior Court on January 25th.
Armstrong was charged with second-degree robbery and second-degree larceny.
Bond was set at $150,000.
